07.00am depart from Kuching Bus terminal for Pontianak, the capital of West Kalimantan Indonesia. 12.30pm Pit-stop over at Sosok for lunch and break. Arrival at Pontianak around 1600hrs and will meet by our representatives at local hotel. Proceed to check-in at the hotel. After dinner, free at leisure.
08.00am after breakfast, proceed for a visit to the morning market, the state University of Tanjungpura which is build in 19th century. Then along the way, drop by the Governor’s Office with a fine blend of Malay, Dayak and ancient Chinese background. With that, next is the Museum of Kalimantan, exhibiting the ingenious of artifacts of landmark where Pontianak Town was founded in 17th Century. The Equatorial Monument depicting that Pontianak city straddle 0 degree of the north and south. After much excitement, photographing proceed to a nutritious Aloe Vera Center where aloe vera plantations research are presented and aloe shopping at souvenir shop . 1830pm having dinner and back to hotel or free at leisure.
08.00am after breakfast, we will be padding the mighty Kapuas Bridge and Landak Bridge which connects the old and new town of Pontianak. Estimate around 3 hours from Pontianak and one can view the beautiful scenarios of coconut, palm plantation. There will be small road side stall for quick stop and on the away to Singkawang, there will be a pit-stop at the Sakok Pottery for pottery souvenirs and Pasir Panjang beach for a glance of the deep blue sea and the beach. Then the tour continue to the oldest Tua Pek Khong Templte which is located in Lunch then proceed to hotel in the Afternoon to check-in. Free at leisure. 1830pm Dinner.
08.00am after hotel breakfast, check our and assemble at hotel lobby for the bus pick-up back to Kuching.
